“May of 2024, I was experiencing pain constantly, weakening my legs, and disrupting my balance. I was walking with a cane and sometimes, a walker. This pain had grown progressively worse over several years and I was diagnosed with arthritis of the spine, one disc that was severely flattened, one that was bulging in my lumbar area. The sciatic nerve was being pinched. Spinal surgery was my only option as I had several shots and the effectiveness had diminished. At 75 years old, my quality of life was definitely impacted. As an RN for a lifetime, I witnessed too many unsuccessful surgeries of the back and sought for anything that might be effective.
